Few people that I know are aware of the benefits of taking an omo option on thier pension, and the ones who do know are worried it will be complicated and full of jargon, so they settle for the stress free option provided by their inital provider. This leval of apathy only helps to keep annuity rates down. If people realised how simple and stress free it is as in my own personal experience a lot more people would use there option.
