Parcelforce

Never again

I haven't used parcelforce for atleast a year or so, The last few times I used them "48" hour parcels where always delivered late.

This time I thought I'd give them a go again, I booked online like I have done previously to print my labels of and take to post office as it is cheaper.

Now here's where the fun begins, I get to the post office with the labelon and he says he can't accept as there's no barcode. What was on the screen was printed but a glitch somewhere meant the barcode part was missing, and of course, parcelforce only give you one opportunity to print/view your label and it is lost forever. I phoned up and spoke to a very snotty and rude woman who told me to ring my local depot, I phoned the liverpool depot and spoke to a girl called Stacey who in all fairness was very helpful, she phoned me back and told me to ring an I.T helpdesk. It turns out that if you use firefox web browser, it doesn't always show the barcode. No warning of this anywhere and there was no way of reprinting or being sent another label. My only option was to request a refund and take the parcel to the post office and pay for another delivery through them which cost me even more money. As it turns out the parcel should be delivered today, But it has only just arrived at the "national hub" and with it being a bank holiday it will now be atleast tuesday... making it 6 days for a 48 hour parcel, unacceptable and I don't know how they get away with it, I'll be using collect + from now on for all my deliverys. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but they have let me down far too many time's now, Infact, out of the last 5 items I have sent with them, Not one has turned up on time.
