My cousin and I booked recently a flight to Cancun and booked a car as we wish to travel to Belize. We chose Cancun as it is a lot cheaper than flying to Belize directly, - even with the extra cost of car hire. When we received the confirmation of the flights we noticed that one of the names was spelled wrongly. We phoned Ebookers who said that they had to cancel the booking and do a new one. However, our payment had already gone through. The person dealing with the change said that a cancellation would be done straight away, and to our astonishment, the total amount of the new booking, including car hire, came to less than the original booking.
