Internet ordering forget it

On the 20th November my partner placed an order for a gift for our grandson's birthday which has now come and gone, no goods have been dispatched. After a week we rang customer service to complain the operator was full of apoligies assured us the goods would be delivered soon, again we waited no goods, this has gone on week after week phone calls emails with customer service ringing us all we get is sorry the goods will be dispatched, well we are now on 22nd December still no goods. We have dealt with argos over a number of years reserving and collecting our goods without any problem, the only reason this product was ordered online goods were not available in store. We could have purchased a similar item in other stores many times over but he is a pensioner and argos has his money so he can ill afford the cost and believes the service team every time they assure him the goods will be dipatched, we wont be using argos again very poor inernet customer service.
