On 20th nov. i ordered a Divan Base and Headboard from "We are Beds".The headboard had to be cancelled 3 days later as they couldnt get hold of one.On the 29th of Nov. i made the mistake of trying to ring them-forget this method -in 20 attempts at least by phone no one has ever answered the phone even when you are first in the line.Emails arnt much better but after imploring them to let me know when the bed would be arriving i got a reply.The bed was arriving on the 5th Dec.and we would be telephoned the night before for a rough delivery time.Hurrah.No call the night before but after staying in all day a call at 5.45pm said they couldnt deliver because they only had one half of the bed.Following Monday -bed was coming on the 12th.It did-2 different halves of 2 different beds,different colours,no means of attatching the halves together because only one link part was supplied and the drawers were on opposite sides.It gets worse -only one headboard fixing was supplied and one of the castors was damaged.I wasnt impressed and running out of time.Sent an email-no response for 4 days but eventually we got a telephone call because they werent sure of the problem but it was the mauufacturers fault anyway.Told them to collect the bed and refund me.Bottom line i still have the bed in my little bungalow because they cant collect until the New Year!!I have bought another bed locally so my guests can sleep somewhere.Messages to Management:
1)Answer the phones.
2)Reply to emails.
3)Dont be just a post box-do a quality check before despatch
4)Treat problems like this as an opportunity-you could have sold me another bed if you sent a driver quickly to pick up and collect within 5 days.
