I ordered flowers for delivery to my dear Aunt on her 80th Birthday, expecting delivery on the 5th Dec...and my cousin ended up having to go and collect them from the ferry on the 21st Dec! NOT the lovely surprise I had hoped for and definitely not the service I had paid for. So wish I had used the international company previously used.
I could have accepted that it was the agent that was at fault ...if I had at least had the respect of follow up responses to my emails from Iflorist 'customer support'. As it was, I had an initial response, then my emails were ignored.
In essence, they simply accepted the agent 's excuse (they said they had tried to phone my aunt before delivery....funny how I can always get through...but hey...wait a minute...don't we just order flowers in good faith that they'll just be delivered???).
Not even sure that the flowers that were delivered in the end met up to expectations. I would have at least expected an apology and attempt to put things right.
80th Birthdays are one-off's....as are most special occasions...so please be warned and don't be tempted tp save a few bucks...far better the flowers get there!
