I paid £9 to ensure delivery was between 8 and 1.
At approx 11.30 I received a phone call from the delivery driver to say his van wasn't big enough to transport the mattress we had ordered (super king size) and therefore this would mean delivery would be on his way home after 5.30pm
The carrier should surely have known at 8 or earlier that morning that his van was not big enough for the delivery to be made and a phone call should have been made then.
I was disappointed at having to wait in for nothing that morning.
I called Mattressman to convey my disappointment, they said they hadn't been told about it themselves, and would make enquiries, and refund the £9.
The mattress itself is great! Very comfy, my husband (who suffers from back pain) is not suffering as much as before.
