We have financially benefitted from booking with Secret Escapes on two occasions - on the third time of booking we have not financially benefitted because the cost of this booking is at least £400 cheaper had we gone direct to the travel company.
When I first queried this I received a prompt response to my concern - however thereafter I was the one who had to follow up all queries rather than a telephone call from Secret Esapes to ameliorate the situation.
The outcome from customer services that Secret Escapes were only bound by the current online cost at the time of my booking.
I am now very cautious about seeing any offers as financial benfits since the marketing statements are not always correct.
Overall I was not happy with the after care with Secret Escapes. My feelings are the service for bookings et al are good but thereafter the service isn't great.
I would recommend that Secret Escapes follow up emails with a prompt call to the client.
