I ordered an item on Sunday afternoon. Received an email at 6pm the following Tuesday;
We have recently received your order for the Santon Premier Plus PP150E Direct Unvented Cylinder. Unfortunately we do not have this product in stock and will not be able to supply the product. We apologise for the inconvenience and will process your refund ASAP.
Please allow 2-4 days depending on your bank.
The item has now been removed from the website and all prices have went up for the different size models.
After ordering I had arranged a plumber for the end of the week to come and install the item. Delivery was apparently 2-3 days, so the item should have come on Tuesday/Wednesday even Thursday or Friday would have been fine, yet I didn't receive the email to say the item was no longer available until 6pm Tuesday. This has set me back by over 3 weeks as I had to reorder this item from another website and delivery is not until the second of January and my plumber is unavailable until the week after.
I have still to receive a refund, it has been 12 days since I placed my order. Making things worse the website would not take my card details so I had to use PayPal which will add another 3-5 days onto getting my money back once I actually receive my refund.
This whole situation should have been avoided by stock levels and the website being kept up to date. I would advise anyone to keep clear of this website and have a look about on trustpilot prior to purchasing from these online retailers.
