the ultimate (christmas) gift that keeps on giving

i spent three weeks trawling our backed up photos, going through 8 years of digital pics that had disappeared into the limbo of a creaking hard disc.
having made a 'shortlist' (down to a thousand or so decent pics), i then set about making to books for my wife's christmas present.
this was the easy part. it takes about half an hour to get used to the software - but once you've got it it's very simple.

the result: family pictures liberated from the prison of digital storage - into a couple of large books that made my wife cry with happiness
