Delivery not very efficient

I have used best pet for years and never had a problem, I have found them really efficient and helpful and goods are always delivered within a couple of days.
The last order I made stated 3-5days delivery, I'm not sure if it was due to the festive season or if it was because I ordered dog food (2kg bag) which I hadnt done before but it took nearly 10days and several phone calls to find out where my order was and finally have it arrive, but the 7th day of waiting my dogs had run out of food, had to have bran flakes for breakfast and I had to battle Christmas shoppers to go out and buy a bag of food, at £3 more expensive than the bag of same brand I had ordered from the website, very frustrating!
