I ordered a TV online and was promised delivery on Christmas Eve but no delivery.
I understand everyone is busy at Christmas but why promise what you can't deliver?
Because I was working on Christmas Eve I had arranged delivery to go to my mums house. My mum waited in all day and nothing, no delivery. So I tracked it and it read 'No access to property'. This I feel was made up, maybe the driver just wanted to get home for Christmas (HA! Don't we all!) but there is plenty of access to my mums house as she lives on a quiet road with a car park to the side and which is clearly sign posted. I was then told it would definitely arrive on the 27th so again my mum waits in all day and nothing. Again I track it. This time it reads 'unable to deliver - left calling card'......Hmmmm, with who exactly?! There was no calling card left and no knock on the door. This time I try to call Yodel. But I can't get through because I need the number on the calling card... BUT I DON'T HAVE A CALLING CARD!! So after I contact the online company with whom I ordered the TV from I finally get through to Yodel. Yodel tells me that maybe the driver has gone to the wrong address. Well yeah, obviously! Unless of course they are that rubbish and haven't even attempted delivery...who knows but I still have no TV!!
What I do not understand is how a company like this can not find a delivery address and get it so utterly wrong. An address which is off a main road and the house can be seen from the main road! And from reading other people's reviews this isn't exactly the first time.
I am fuming and so is my mum who will waste another day tomorrow waiting.....
