I ordered an item from Amazon. The courier Amazon used was Yodel. The Item took half a day to get from their Goole depot to their Milton Keynes depot(arrived 14 Dec 12 @ 13:37) AND IS STILL THERE! Apparently it has been lost.
After I'd watched it sit in Milton Keynes for four days I contacted customer service(term used loosely)via online chat. The individual said the relevant depot would be emailed and the item would be sent out the next day. No subsequent delivery was forthcoming and no followup action carried out by Yodel. After that, any attempt to contact customer service was in vain. The online chat was always offline and every time I phoned, after jumping through the usual "press 2" hoops the phone rang for ten minutes or so then I was cut off. Extremely poor service by a company who spends more time telling you how good they are than actually being good!
Checking the Yodel website today, 14 days after my Christmas present arrived in Milton Keynes. I can see that it is still there. Lovely!
Amazon please change your courier!
