Basically I booked a hostel to Brighton for new years eve 2012. after booking and receiving my confirmation i decided to relax, now i have a place to stay for nye. about 20 mins after my booking i get a call from the hostel saying that the website made a mistake the last two beds in a 16 bed dorm (mixed) i had booked for £10.94 each had actually gone and the web made a mistake. Appalled I did not know what to do as its the 27th Dec and I'm not gona get anywhere cheaper! It was supposed to cost me £22.69 with the deposit but instead the lady offered me two beds in a smaller room i think 6 beds (mixed) for £35.69 .thats so much more for someone who is skint after the Christmas shopping! I was so angry but had to take it as there will be nothing cheaper at all now.
The only reason why I am writing this is because this is not the first time it has happened to me via hostelbookers. be careful they ruin your plans!!!
