We found Bettaliving on the internet. The salesman visited the house and although he was friendly and thorough it did take 5 hours. Thats 18:00 to 23:00, after a days work!
We placed the order and then a couple of days before fitting was due I got seriously cold feet. What if they were a firm of cowboys? We could be on Watchdog and out of pocket.
No problems. The first fitter arrived at 8:00 on Thursday, although no-one from Bettaliving had confirmed that, and looked at what had to be done and said he couldn't see any problems. Over the next 2 days 2 other guys turned up and cracked on. All were polite, friendly and probably most important all were extremely competent. By Saturday evening they were finished and we are very happy with the results. We do however require 4 extra doors. These were ordered and paid for several weeks ago and a delivery of 4 doors and handles was made. Sadly they were the wrong doors so I phoned to get them changed. I phoned on Monday 10th December and the guy said he'd look into it and call me back the next morning. I've since called about 16 or 17 times and cannot get through to the same guy. I've left messages but he's never got back to me. So I write this on Friday 28th December not knowing if and when I will receive my 4 doors, which I've paid for, to finish off my kitchen. It has soured what was a very good relationship. All the guy has to do is call, leave a message so that I know what is going on, but he has yet to do just that. Communication.
