I ordered a laptop at the beginning of december for an xmas present. I never received it. I checked the online tracking system and it claimed the item was signed for and left with a my mext door neighbour as I was out - I was in ALL day, in fact there were 2 of us in ALL day. My neighbour was out. I contacted the retailer and was told whi signed for the parcel (not my neighbour and not a name of ANYONE in our road) I was then told the address of 'the neighbour' not even ANYWHERE near my house/road!!!!!! I am now waiting to be recredited for this item, in the meantime the retailer sent a second laptop to me assuring me it will be delivered by xmas eve......Guess what it was received in the yodel service centre at 2.59 am on the 23rd and that is as far as it got. Contacted Yodel to find out what was happening and they told me that the retailer needed to contact them re delivery! Why they couldnt call the service centre themselves is beyond me. I contacted the retailer and they got onto Yodel straight away - and I was told the parcel had gone 'missing' at the service centre!!! I now have to be recreditied for this item! Retailer has reordered which I will not get until the 4th Jan!! I asked them to use a different courier even <external links removed> but was told they couldnt......if I dont recieve this one I will wont double the compensation that I feel is owed to me!
