I've been done intensive search to look for the cheapest alternative for the Canon EOS 6D + EF 24-105mm f/4 L lens and 2 other companies were cheaper than SLR Hut. However those 2 companies had consistently aweful reviews (1 star from hundreds of customers!), whilst SLR Hut had consistently excellent reviews (5 stars rating).
I received my items quite quickly from the US so in terms of quality of the product and competitive price SLR Hut is great and I would recommend it to anybody for a safe online shopping experience.
The only comment I would say is that I received an email to confirm my order, which I found surprising. When I talked to the sales person I realised that it is a technique to sell you more stuff. I was advised to purchase a 5 hours battery because I was told the GPS consumes the battery significantly (no idea if that's the case if you switch the GPS off). As I had not looked into this I replied that I was not interested. At this point I was proposed the battery for £25 instead of £129.99. That was tempting but I still said no. I received an invoice the next day itemising the cost of the DSLR + Lens, but also the battery at a cost of £129.99! I then phoned back and the sales person admitted there was an error, but as a compromise I proposed to keep the battery (not original Canon) at the cost of £25, which was accepted. Therefore I received a refund of £105 a few days later. I have no idea if this was a genuine mistake and if I would have had to pay the shipping cost to return the battery if I had decided not to keep the battery. This is the reason why I didn't put 5 stars, but would still consider them as a safe online shop to deal with.
