Poor customer service and misleading information

I purchased two experiences as gifts for Christmas. Despite the headline banner on their website stating that all gifts ordered by a certain date would be delivered prior to Christmas. After checking my account I found that one of the gifts was not due to be posted out until the 24th December. Despite all my attempts to contact them I could not get through on all but one occasion. On the one occasion I got through I was on hold for more than 20 minutes before I gave up. On the basis of this I tried to cancel through email, but was unable to do so. So I decided the only option I had was to purchase the same gift directly with the experience company. This was successful and was able to download the gift voucher.
In the end the gift arrived prior to Christmas, but the uncertainty had pushed me into buying a duplicate. it was to late and I will be returning it.
The customer support with this company is absolutely appalling. I have never had an experience like this before and would not recommend them to anyone. I will certainly not use them ever again.
