Useless.

I ordered a pressure washer from Amazon -- due for delivery today.
We were all in all morning -- four humans and eight dogs. You'd have thought someone would have noticed if anyone had tried to deliver anything! But at about one o'clock I checked my emails and found a message from DPD telling me that there was no-one in to receive our delivery. LIKE HELL!!
It seems to be impossible to contact DPD by phone -- just a load of unhelpful automated messaging systems -- so I got on to Amazon.
They were able to establish that the courier hadn't even tried to deliver, because they "couldn't find the house".

I'm sorry for any inconvenience that was caused by the delay. I see that the pressure washer was delivered on New Year's Eve at around midday - was everything okay when we visited?
