The first thing to go wrong was that an error code came up as I tried to complete my order, suggesting that the order had failed. I therefore re-input it. I then found confirmation emails for 2 mattresses. I rang customer services, explained what had happened, and they said they would cancel the second order. I asked for an email to be sent to confirm that my money would be refunded. I'm yet to receive it.
The mattress was ordered for 24th December. It didn't arrive and there was nowhere to ring to find out what had happened. As a result, one of my sons had to sleep on the floor for 3 days over the Christmas period.
I rang on the 27th to ask for an explanation and the delivery company was blamed. No apology was forthcoming until I asked for one. I cancelled the order on the basis that it was no longer required and requested an email be sent to confirm my money would be refunded. Again, I am yet to receive it.
I'm currently £198 out of pocket, yet all I've received is an email asking me to rate my experience. I wouldn't want to voice what I think of this experience. Suffice it to say, I won't be rushing to use mattressnextday again.
