Slick service, very professional - just a bit too much confirming and re-confirming which becomes a bit unsettling

I have full praise for Hotel Direct and they've always found me a good room in a suitable location. This time, Thistle Marble Arch turned out to be a very good choice and ideal for my needs. One small quibble - there seems to be a tendency to re-confirm bookings which I think is intended to reassure the client - in fact it becomes rather unsettling - as though there might be some doubt re the original booking. A single confirmation is enough
