The web site is very clear and easy to use - it guides you through the questions very well. The only improvement would be if it said earlier that when you don't use their courier service to send your phone, you get a page to print out at the end with an address label - I was left wondering what would happen, and so it made me hesitate to finish my purchase. Another trick: enter your details, but don't complete the transaction (I only delayed to get my phone backed up) - they email a 10% discount code to encourage you to use their service. What nice people! Anyway, sent the phone (used Post Office with insurance - £12 cheaper than the courier, but you do have to go to the PO), iPhone-surgery emailed when it arrived, and when it was fixed faster than PO's package tracking! In 2 days the phone arrived back fixed and better packaged & wrapped then I had sent it. Before using iPhone-surgery I did investigate the DIY approach - there's plenty of YouTubes showing how, and places to buy the bits but, just check out the size of the outside screws - they're tiny, and the YouTubes are great at showing you how to get in to the part, but they don't show the reassembly process - I suspect it's somewhat harder! Anyway, at £35 all in (£27 to iPhone-surgery and £8 to PO), I'm happy - I'd recommend iPhone-surgery - they're very well set up, did the job, and kept me informed promptly at all stages.
The web site helped me select what I wanted, by machine, and mr memory delivered in double-quick time the week before Xmas at no charge for p&p. They rock!
