What a horrible horrible company with deplorable customer service. Gave restaurant wrong order with wrong address, restaurant sent to wrong address and naturally no one was in. Something obviously screwed up with the ordering system and I would normally not be irate, but Just Eat refuses to give us a refund and places all responsibility on the restaurant. As the restaurant received an order that they believed to be legit, prepared it, drove out to the address given for an order that never existed, and we placed an order that was never delivered, the fault seems to lie with Just Eat. All I really ask for is for a refund for the food I ordered and did not receive.
What is worse is that the customer service staff we spoke to about this simply shot down our issue as something that wasn't their problem because it couldn't possibly happen. It's now clear to me that Just Eat is exploitative, and as the middle man, they are free to place blame and financial responsibility on either the restaurant or the customer, whether the fault is theirs or not. I find this appalling business practice and morally repulsive.
