Awful service and faulty products

I received a broken ( cracked and chipped bodywork) electric motor bike costing me £250. When the company was notified on day 1 (19th Dec 12), they wanted to send me the plastic body parts to unscrew bike and patch up myself. I DO NOT THINK SO! I refused as i did not want to cause further damage and invalidate my refund if required. It is the 2nd Jan 2013 and i still have not received a replacement product and my son is still awaiting his main xmas present.
To make matters worse, if i do require a refund, money will be deducted from my £250 for pick although the product came with free delivery. STOP, BE CAUTIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! I have not tried product but i am sure they'll be electric/motor issues after ruff transit. As i received e,mail notifying me that the delivery men are 'heavy handed' at this time of year which is not my problem i want a descent product.
