After sourcing the smart TV that I wanted, I placed my order with PRCdirect, who confirmed my order and then heard from "Sage Pay" that my payment would go via them to PRCdirect (my order number:7002045). All was going as it should, until I received a call next day, to inform me that the model TV that had been promised, was no longer available, but not to worry, they could offer me an alternative for £40 odd more, or a "non-smart TV" for considerably less. When I pointed out that the second option was ridiculous, as I particularly wanted a smart TV, I was promptly told that my original choice of Toshiba 32RL953B, also wasn`t "smart". (WRONG!!). As the upgrade ( Toshiba 958) at £40 odd extra also wasn`t attractive, I decided to cancel the order and look elsewhere. Although my payment of £284 had not left my bank account, it had been earmarked for payment, so effectively was no longer available to me ( informed of this by my bank), it subsequently took an inordinately long time for PRCdirect/Sage Pay, to relinquish the call on my payment and for it to be credited back into my account. When I checked the PRCdirect website, the advertisement for the Toshiba 953 model had been removed, just a pity that they couldn`t have removed it when the TV was no longer available to them, before accepting orders for it.
