My order was supposed to arrive on Thursday, December 20 so I stayed in all day for it. When it didn't turn up, I phoned City Link and told them I would be out on Friday, 21st. They informed me that the package would be delivered on Monday 24. I happened to look at their tracking page on the internet on Monday morning, only to find that it had been delivered (according to them) on Friday 21st. It may have been delivered, but certainly not to me. I phoned them and spoke to a nice young man called Alex who was clearly very embarrassed to have to tell me that their driver did not speak English and no-one could communicate with him. The package has still not turned up. The Drink Shop sent out a new delivery immediately and were very apologetic (after Christmas by this time) but City Link still managed to deliver it to me two days after the date promised by The Drink Shop. So I'm not too impressed with City Link's efficiency. Perhaps you should try using a different courier.
