Absolutely terrible company, I don't know how they call themselves a delivery service.
I ordered a pair of boots from Barratts in early December as a Christmas present and I still haven't received them.
They tried to deliver on the 18th of December, but we were out at work, every other parcel has been left on our doorstep (which is safe) but not hermes. They said they would try again on the 19th. They didn't. By the 22nd I hadn't heard anything so I contacted Barratts (with difficultly) and they said that hermes has informed them that they should be delivered either that day or on the 24th. They were not.
The next time they tried to deliver was the 27th. This was no use as they were for a Christmas present which would seem obvious to any other delivery company as I ordered them a month before. No contact details were left on the card (again) so I had to ring barratts once again who said that the normal service from hermes is to send the item back to them without my knowledge and they would automatically refund me. I don't want to be refunded, I just want my parcel!!!!
Im still waiting, who knows if I will ever get them as long as hermes are involved.
