Ordered my Rivermead large oak dining unit just after Christmas by phone and it was delivered on 2nd January by 2 very friendly delivery men. From the point of ordering I have been kept regularly informed by text and phone of the delivery status and it was delieverd within the given time slot, with a friendly call from the driver, 30 mins before it arrived. I am thrilled with the size, quality and look of the unit, which really enhances my dining room and matches my other furniture. The only downside is that in order not to invalidate the guarantee we had to try to lift the heavy unit out of the box and packaging once the men had gone. Pretty tricky in a small dining room and I was lucky my husband & son were here to lift it. Perhaps delivery men should unpack and take the packaging away & that way, customers can check for faults there and then. Also, 1 of the door handles didnt quite line up with the pre-drilled holes but my handy hubby managed to sort this out! All in all, a beautiful piece of furniture which enhances our home. I am sure I will return to oakfurnitureland again in the future. Thank you
