Once ordered, delivery and delivery/dispatch information were timely and accurate.
My order for a number of DRAPER young gardener tools was < 20% rival alternative providers (including Amaon). I often use Amazon because in my view it is a trusted provider BUT !!! I could not ignore the SIGNFICANT PRICE DIFFERENTIAL INCL Delivery costs (c£40 vs Amazon's c£60).

Easy to find products I wanted - good advice on website and products also highlighted availability of shoe sizes.
Ordering also fine but I was confused by the security aspect - there were 2 payment routes - one via Sage and one through a route suggested as more secure. I went down the theoretically more secure route which allowed me to request further verification of the website. The s/w behind this was patently american and the response to my website verification query suggested that there was no verified telephone number for this company. I then did an independent search of the company and was satisfied by my own search so did place my order using the theoretically more secure route. I do shop online frequently so it was probably just the unknown (to me) nature of this payment route that spooked me.
I was kept well informed by email of the order progress until the last stage when I was emailed that the product had been despatched and I would receive an email from the carrier company with tracking details. I expected the email from the carrier company soon after this email (Jan 2nd) but there was then a delay of 2 days before I received an email from Royal Mail at 5 am ( 2 hrs before it was delivered at 7:30 on Jan 4th). I understand that the Xmas period probably had a part to play but Jan 2nd - 4th were working days - not sure whethere this is Royal Mail or company despatch issue in communication.
But overall despite above I am happy with service - and if there had been an issue I was kept informed how I might log any query.
