The sale and delivery went off without a hitch, but the guitar itself was not at all set up. When brought to concert pitch, the Floyd Rose was pitched forward, when tuned to e flat standard, it pitched back.
When the FR spring tension had finally been balanced so the bridge was flat, the intonation was out.
This is a £1500 guitar and it was no where near playable. Now I'm going to have to fork out to get it set up properly.
GG was always my go to place, but not now. I don't suspect any ulterior motives, but the experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.
I ordered the wrong thing online but didn't realise my mistake until the next morning. I called the shop and Ben altered the order for me with no problems, no attitude.
Communication was courteous without getting smarmy and the updated order got delivered on time. Can't say fairer than that.
