Terrible experience today - updated

Update-After my experience below on Friday I received a phone call from World Stores on saturday apologising and assuring me that delivery would take place on Monday and offering to refund my delivery (no stipulation to me amending my feedback btw). She said that someone would call me Monday with an am/pm delivery slot. Monday came and no phone call first thing stating am/pm but the mattress was delivered at around 10.30am. At around 12.15 I got a call from World Stores saying that my bed would be delivered between 1.30pm and 6.30pm but it arrived around 12.30pm so timings were a bit out but at least both items arrived and I am very happy with them. Today (Tuesday) I received another 2 calls from World Stores checking that I had received my items and asking if I was happy with them and offering me another £10 refund due to my inconvenience. In a way World Stores have redeemed themselves. I appreciate the Carrier was the one not to deliver when they should have but I do still believe that all this upset could have been avoided with a phone call on Friday. My bed and mattress are fantastic, World Stores post Friday have been a lot better, even good but I would still have to think carefully in the future about ordering from them given my initial; experience and feedback from other people onhere. I'm going to update from 1 star to 3 stars.

We ordered a bed and mattress to be delivered today. Waited in all day and no delivery. I called them at 5pm asking what time they delivered until (after being on hold for 30 minutes) and was told they were running late but it'd be here today. It's now 7.50pm and no bed or mattress. My old bed is dismantled and at the tip. Customer services is now closed until Monday. Very very disappointed.
