A parcel which was needed urgently and the delivery of which was promised for today did not arrive. When l checked on the website of the supplier at 13.50 l saw that the courier had 'tried to deliver the parcel at 13.27 and left a card as no one was in'. There were two people in the house all day, waiting for the parcel. The courier did not come to the house and no card was left.
l rang Yodel who promised to request that the courier came back to deliver the parcel today as l am anyway on the driver's way back to his depot. l also asked them to get the courier to ring me as l wanted an explanation. Of course, l have had neither sight nor sound since then and have no idea when the parcel will now come. It is Friday today. The parcel needs a signature and l cannot be at home on Monday or Tuesday. l don't anyway have a card so can't rebook delivery.
