Unacceptable debit card fee

Having previously used ebookers with no problem, I was very unimpressed by their demand for around £14 debit card fee. This smacked of underhand tactics as it was not apparent until the very last page, after 10 mins had been spent completing the booking. This should have been made clear at the time of comparison with other sites. Poor

Hi Mr Speirs - as the air fare you purchased was a retail one for which the airline processed the payment directly the credit card fee was levied by them and not ebookers.

All the charges would have been detailed for you prior to confirmation and we are sorry to note your dissapointment.
