The last time I used Jessops to create a Photo Book, it was before they went into administration. So I was a little anxious about using them again now that they have been revived (or more correctly, now that a different organisation has sprung up using the Jessops name). I needn't have worried. Jessops are using the same sub-contractor company (CEWE) to print their Photo Books, and the same software package to help us construct the Photo Books. In all respects, nothing is different. The quality of my latest Photo Book is as good as ever (i.e. superb), and the book was printed and delivered within 5 days.
Would I use them again? Oh yes, I certainly would. No hesitation.
Just received an email from DPD stating that "We were unable to deliver your parcel as there was no one present to sign for the delivery, rearrange your delivery here - xxxxxxxx". Furthermore, the tracking status now shows the same message with a (thoroughly inaccurate) extra statement that they left a Calling Card. Er ... no they didn't leave a calling card - and we were in all morning waiting for the delivery before the "could not deliver" email arrived.
My suspicion is that the courier could find our house and just drove away. Given that the only redelivery option open to us is to rearrange a delivery over the next 5 working days - and we are all at work all next week - I guess the parcel is going to be sent back to Amazon, undelivered.
Really not happy at paying for a service I didn't receive.
