Was emailed last night telling me my package would arrive at some point today. I looked at the tracking information a few times throughout the day but nothing changed on that. At 4 o'clock after sitting in all day with no sign of a delivery I phoned customer services to hear that they hadn't been to pick up my package yet and it may arrive tomorrow but I am out for half the day tomorrow.
Very disappointing since I stayed in all day for this package and was clearly told it would be delivered on 7th January.

Really sorry for this. Notification messages are automatically sent out when the sender prints off the parcel label. However, for some reason, it seems that the parcel has not been received by us at the scheduled time, and this has resulted in a delay.
Providing the parcel is collected today, I would expect you to receive it at some stage tomorrow. Please let me know if you have any issues with the delivery by dropping me a message to socialmedia@dpd.co.uk (please remember to include a contact phone number).
