I ordered my fancy dress for New Years Eve from a website that had a counter running at the top. "Get your order in in the bext 19 hrs, 46 mins and 12 seconds for a guaranteed delivery for new year.
Thought it was too good to be true and paid an extra £10 for the pleasure.
Didnt arrive in time, in fact it was about the 3rd when it turned up. Hat that was in the costume was crushed to bits and the costume itself was also crushed into a long thin cardboard box.
No consideration to the item itself, just thrown in a box and for £80 expected a lot better.
I received a call on New Years eve saying that it would not turn up and would be using an alternative courier. No mention or apology apart form to say if I wanted to return the item I would have to pay for the pleasure. Nice customer relations!
it had not arrived on time and never would.
The option should have been to cancel the order, refund my money and send me a gift token for any future purchases with an apology from the company.
Doubt this will appear anywhere, Im stuck with a Zorro fancy dress and will be telling everyone how I was treated.
