I shop online for the first time (ebay). The parcel arrives at my front door, a communal door for 4 flats. The driver gives the parcel to somebody who was not the addressee. He has no idea who. Nobody by the name he signs lives in the building. The depot accepts that they got things wrong, and tell to ask the sender to submit a claim. Despite the fact the I have bought and paid for the item + postage (over £100 in total) Parcelforce does not recognise my existence. They put the phone down on me when I called. The sender puts in a claim, only to be told that they've carried out the delivery according to there policy (!!!!!), they've got a signature, and that the loss is my hard luck.Could you make it up? As as an armed forces pensioner I have never been treated with such contempt in my life. A Saunders. (Parcel no. KU6273325)
