i have bought quite a lot of bathroom gear from VP this year so when i came to buy a new bath and saw the pictures - it looked like a good deal. it arrived with only a 3 quarter bath panel - which is no good for the 'middle of the room' plumbing i had already set out (and is going to cost me more to re-organise the room). now it does say on the website this should be built in, but it is the last line in a long description, none of the pictures show how 'short' the panel actually is and frankly as a lay person built in could mean a number of things. i called VP to discuss but the operative was not helpful at all, despite my custom to them previously - he simply said, "it does say 'built in' on the webiste and if you want to try and get a new bath panel call the manufacturers on this number". I appreciate at the end of the day this was my fault but you expect organisations to assist their customers with issues they have based on their expertise as the specialist providers of goods/services - especially if they have a track record of buying (as i did). they did not. it is a shame that nothing further was offered to me other than those last options. my only recourse is to do what every customer can ultimately do and that is to withhold our custom in future and inform friends/family of the experience.
easy shopping experience with these guys. only comment would be to suggest they slightly extend their product offering (I was also looking for ski gloves and socks and would have just as easily bought them through RX if they sold them). regardless an easy experience all round.
