Ordered set of new tyres which were very keenly priced compared with many of their competitors esp taking the home fitting into account
Service experience was alao faultless - arrived on time and had all four tyres fitted within the hour
Fitter was courteous and helpful at all times
Would never go back to Kwik-Fit again!
Ordered a Panasonic blu-ray PVR advertised "as new" condition which arrived in a fairly tatty box but otherwise looked the genuine article. Having connected the up the player everything seemed fine until I decided to play a region 2 DVD and found that the unit was locked to region 1 (obviously not new and had been chipped by someone in the past)
Numerous subsequent phone-calls to customer service number on website (0121 3825444) initially diverted to v-mail and more recently I just get and engaged tone.
Did one time get an email from customer support saying that they would sort the issue by the end of the week but that was nearly 2 weeks ago now and these guys have just disappeared off the face of the planet.
This leads me to believe that this may be one of those scam websites but either way they are dodgy as hell so save yourself some grief and use Amazon or one of the more trustworthy outfits out there.
Was a bit sceptical initially esp when I realisd that the company was in fact based offshore (Germany I think) and did not appear to offer phone support. Any queries I had were however dealt with quickly and courteously online and within 48 hours my tyres arrived via courier and in pristime condition.
As an added bonus I reckon I saved over £50 compared to the next cheapest online supplier - what a bargain!
Been using DS for a few mths now and am very impressed with the quality and pricing of their products.
Definitely on a par if not better than MyProtein and similar sites.
Delivery is also quick with full tracking available
Having been cornered coming out of Sainsburys one Saturday I decided to let Chipssaway quote on a minor dent and scratch on the rear panel of my car
Having quoted the best part of £300 to repair I hesitated at first but eventually got back in touch to get it sorted
To cut a long story short the Chipsaway chap came out one morning spent 30mins erecting his tent before knocking on the door and declaring that he was relatively new on the job and didnt feel comfortable doing the work. He then called one of his more experienced (?) colleagues who came out but again was unprepared to do the work
All very frustrating having taken the morning off work to humour these cowboys
Anyway despite the fancy marketing these guys are simply unreliable and I would avoid using at alll costs
Ordered a pair of trainers online which eventually arrived within a week but which unfortunately came up small. No problem I thought and returned the trainers having filled in the returns slip specifying a replacement not a refund.
Needless to say the replacement shoes were never sent out and emails to SD customer service went unanswered. I eventually got my money back but what a painful and unnecessary experience.
Oh and be warned thay use Yodel delivery service which in itself is a very good reason to shop elsewhere!
Placed order for bar stools on 5th December for next day delivery and paid via PayPal.
No order confirmation was ever sent and needless to say am still waiting for items three days later.
Have tried calling on numerous occasions during work hours but phone just rings through. Similarly no response was forthcoming on email so can only assume they are either a mickey-mouse outfit or have gone out of business but are still taking people's money.
If you don't want to be disappointed I would strongly advise you to avoid these cowboys at all costs!!
This is the second order that MyProtein have managed to mess up and now I am left having to source product from Holland & Barrett at significant expense because they could not keep to their promise
Avoid at all costs if you value reliability and customer service
Apart from the appalling webiste the product descriptions on redstore.com are not always accurate or certainly that has been my experience in recent days where I was sent the wrong item
Am not sure where their customer service center is based but their agents do not have a firm grasp of the English language and understandably insist on handling queries by e-mail rather than phone
One to avoid at all costs am afraid - better off sticking with the Amazon's and Scan's of this world even if that means paying slightly extra
