Hi mate. Got this whiskey the other day. Pukka deliverery from whiskey exchange, arrived a day before I reckoned it would. Couldn't wait to open it and try it. The web site I ordered it from didn't say much about the amrut cast strength so I was keen to try it. Pored it and love the rich colour. The nose takes the hair off your nostrils rich burnt wood and peat bit of fruit and sweetness. Now for the taste. Dude batten down the hatches. Drink it too quick and you'll see it again, you need to treat it like a porsche 911 turbo, with respect and caution this is man whiskey. It won't put hairs on your chest it will strip them off. At 62.8 % it's probably be the strongest you'll get at a decent price. It burns less than you might expect with strong and subtitle flavours combined and the after taste lasts for a while. Next your round you gotta try it.
