My order arrived quickly but the bottle was damaged. As it was for a present I contacted the customer services and was asked to return the item by 1st or 2nd class post (cost would be refunded) for exchange. I wanted to send the item recorded as I have had various items lost in the post and the cost of first class recorded was actually £13. I was advised by the post office that in this case special delivery was actually cheaper! at £11 so the item was sent this way.
Replacement again arrived quickly but I was then told initially that I could not have a refund of any postage because I had not used one of the postal options suggested (even though I saved £2 on cost of 1st class delivery) after a number of emails I eventually was refunded grudgingly with the cost of second class postage @ £9 so I am £2 out of pocket.
I am amazed at the confrontational manner of the customer services person in this matter and surprised that they consider it good business to annoy me to such an extent that I would never buy from them again for the sake of £2!!
I really like value for money but for me it is as important that this is balanced with good customer service so I will not buy from Fragrancedirect again
