Have gone to chocolate heaven!

Ordered (ahem!) six kilos of Valrhona chocolate from the Chocolate Trading Co for making home-made creations, after being given a fantastic birthday present of a chocolate making class. The 3 kilo bags which contained Valrhona chocolate 'pastilles' arrived in a very neatly wrapped parcel, delivered very quickly. I ordered on the Friday and the chocolate arrived by 11:30 on Tuesday morning (which meant I didn't have to wait in) and I was really pleased to be able to benefit from a Christmas discount using a code.

I have just made the best truffles I have ever made (using the William Curley recipe book that I was given for Christmas). Instead of coating them with the Valrhona Manjari dark chocolate I had used for the truffles, I decided to use the Valrhona Jivara Lactee to coat them (and throw some in cocoa powder for good measure). All I can say is that when I walk into the kitchen, the most divine smell of chocolate hits you from about 2 metres away from the tray of chocolates that are sitting there in all their loveliness. Slightly obsessed with chocolate? Maybe, but this has to be the very finest chocolate and I was really pleased with the Chocolate Trading Company. The only thing that I would change is that other companies I have used do not charge for delivery after you spend £50 on one order and that nearly put me off, but the fact the Chocolate Trading Co had chocolate with 60% cocao instead of 70% made me purchase with them.
