I paid for 24 hour courier, didn't happen, asked for refund and got no response.

Paid for 24 hour delivery on Dec 29th at a cost of £4.99. It said it would be delivered on or before the 2nd Jan. It was a gift for my friends birthday on the 2nd. It didn't arrive so I asked to cancel the order and bought a quick last minute gift somewhere else. The item arrived on the third. I messaged the company three times over four days before getting an answer. They haven't said sorry and i asked for a refund for they haven't answered. I am currently going through paypal to try and get my money back.
