Spartoo didn't send the item I ordered, and declined payment on cashback site

I ordered lovely Merrells in a size 6. The shoes arrived in a size 6 box but were size 4. An exchange was requested and the item returned. I'm still waiting nearly 3 weeks later and the correct size hasn't arrived. I ordered through quidco and the £4.80 cashback was declined. This happens when an order is altered. It wasn't strictlly altered, just mixed up. The sandals were lovely and great value. Come on Spartoo. Jan

Thank you for your review and I do apologise that you did not receive the correct item. I can confirm that your replacement item has been prepared and is currently on its way to you. You should be receiving it in the next few business days.

I am not quite sure why your cashback was declined as customer service do not deal directly with matters concerning cashback. Perhaps Quidco could be of further assistance about this.

Morale Garden Furniture

A value garden seat, badly packaged, damaged on arrival and poor communication when trying to sort this out

Bought a garden seat in the Sale. On arrival it was wrapped only in bubble wrap. E mails prior to delivery went to lengths to advise that items must be signed for as damaged if not inspected. Glad I did as left hand legs were bent and joint was cracked. Also required to advise within 24 hours of delivery if any issues. Did this on a Saturday and told that it would be dealt with on Monday. Rang on Monday to be told the query was with the warehouse. I didn't really want another shoddy delivery but a refund was refused. No communication about when the replacement was to be delivered. We were left to dispose of the damaged seat - it wasn't taken back. Both seats arrived covered in a fine powder like soot. When washed this turned into a thick black liquid. Not a great experience all round

Boohoo won't send something else in exchange if the original is no longer available

Having bought a faulty item Boohoo would only exchange it for the same thing. As it was sold out I asked for a similar item and they refused. I was told to order again but postage charges apply each time. They also refused to reapply the 20% discount that I had for the original item that had sold out. Rigid and not in keeping with 21st Century Customer Care
