Quick, Easy and gets the job done.

I thought the website was brilliant and easy to use. It was easy to communicate with potential contractors to get the job done. The rating on each contractor by their respective clients also helps with the confidence. Highly recommended!


Disappointing Cashback service.

What I thought to be a simple, straightforward experience turned into a merry-go-round of bureaucratic nightmares. I made a purchase on Asda direct via Quidco. The purchase was made in June 2012. I only received the cashback in Jan 2013. My experience with Quidco as follows -

- A very complicating and hard-to-find customer service "contact us". The website is designed to deter any out-of-the-ordinary questions. I managed to randomly find a phone number in the end, and that helped speed up my issue.
- Unclear description of solution. For my issue, I was informed that only one person handles the Asda account and this person is either always away or on holidays. As a customer, it's least of my concern on how the relationship between ASDA and Quidco is managed. The result was appalling.
- Calculation glitch. At some point during my already-escalated issue, the total amount due to me suddenly reduced without any reason. Once again, I had to raise a concern. I had two different customer service saying two different things. It seems there's a communication breakdown within Quidco team, or Customer service is not trained enough to assess the issue before responding.

All this said, this is my personal experience with Quidco and I shall leave them as soon as I have been paid for MY hard work.

I'm sorry you've had such a disappointing experience, and I do completely understand your frustration with this. Whilst we always try to get your cashback through for you as quickly as possible, there are no guaranteed payment times within the industry at this moment in time. Cashback timings do simply depend on the individual retailer and affiliate networks, and unfortunately delays can happen.

Once a retailer agrees to pay cashback, it then has to go through the payment process, which involves various hand-offs and further checks between various parties. Cashback is actually the commission that Quidco earns when referring you to a deal or a retailer. Instead of keeping it, we pass it on to you, but we have to receive it ourselves first.

I hope this has helped explain the reason for the delay, but if you would like to discuss this further, then please raise a ticket where we can address this.
