Truprint

Very good service and quality - will use again!

I opted for a recent half-price offer on canvas prints to get some recent family pictures done in a form suitable for wall hanging. The web site was a bit temperamental (as another reviewer has remarked) but I eventually found the right page, and from then on it was easy to specify what I wanted and to upload the photos. The canvasses were delivered in about four days, and are brilliant - they now have pride of place in our sitting room.

I will certainly use Truprint again, especially when they have special offers on, as their low-cost printing offers make it cheaper to use them than to print my own photos, and their quality is better too!

Printer Basics

Good service and the best-priced genuine Canon cartridges I could find. Recommended!

I ordered a set of five genuine Canon cartridges for my MP610, and that is what I received - very quickly considering that they were actually sent from Switzerland. The only thing I could not understand was that each of the five cartridges came in a separate envelope with its own despatch note - four came in the same day's mail, yet the fifth was four days later. No doubt there are good reasons for this despatch method, it just seemed a little odd!

The price I paid was the best I could find after looking on eBay and several other sites. Genuine cartridges are always over-priced anyway, so it pays to shop around, and I an quite happy with my deal from Printer Basics. I shall certainly use them again.

Mr Memory

Fast delivery and reliable products!

The 2gb memory I ordered for my daughter's Packard Bell DOT S netbook arrived very quickly, in an anti-statis plastic wallet inside a neat little Jiffy bag . It proved easy to install on this particular model, though other machines in the DOT S-series are more fiddly, as the keyboard has to be lifted.
The new memory was instantly recognised by the netbook's BIOS, but the machine would not boot up. This turned out to be because it was running the OEM-only version of Windows 7, the Starter Edition, and this only recognises and uses 1GB of RAM.
It would have been very helpful to see a warning note about this limitation on the Mr Memory web page, because I had to put the original memory back in, and I am now faced with having to upgrade the netbook to a better version of WIndows 7. Unfortunately the only one I have is the Ultimate edition, which will undoubtedly do much more for my daughter - but will probably almost cancel out the benefits of the extra 1gb of RAM!

Good Afternoon Brian,

I would like to thank you for taking the time and effort to leave a review following your recent order. I really appreciate reading all the feedback left, and thank you for your comments regarding Windows 7 Starter Edition. We do have an article on this in our Blog which I will add to the product pages.

Best Regards
Paul Cooper - Web & Data Manager
