Shed I bought came with a 15 working day delivery estimate - I ended up waiting over two months. Other than that the product is pretty good, very easy to put together. Customer service was fine but like I said, they do have a problem with delivering within a specified period.
I bought a winter jacket for my dog with Viovet and was very pleased with their service. I found them through an internet search for the specific item I wanted and they showed up as being the cheapest so I purchaed with them.
Accidentally purchased the wrong item at point of sale and, after realising my mistake, called their customer services who were able to rectify the problem before dispatch. Item arrived the next day - which, given I'd paid for Special Delivery was expected.
Sadly item was the wrong size but again customer services dealt with my request promptly and efficiently. I returned the item to them yesterday with a request for an exchange and have just received an email to say that the unwanted item has been recieved and new one dispatched.
Couldn't ask for more!
Used Cash 4 Phones to sell my unwanted 2 year old Sony Ericcson Xperia X8. Was originally quoted £25 for the phone, which, given its age, thought was acceptable.
Was sent a flimsy plastic bag to send them the phone. In order for it not to get smashed to bits in transit I took it upon myself to wrap the phone up in bubble wrap and off it went in the post.
Three days later I checked the account (did not receive any notification that the phone had been received by them) to find that my phone had failed a quality check due to excessive cosmetic damage (or something). I was then being offered a new, princely sum of £8.32. Not happy as when I sent the phone apart from being old was in good working order!
I called their helpline and spoke to someone and asked for a full description of the damage as I'd sent the phone in good working order. After a being told what I could already see on my computer screen I told him I was going to reject the offer and he said it would be £8.95 to have the phone returned. At this stage I challenged him about what I had been led to expect from their service and pretty much straight away he said he'd honour the original amount which, obviously, I accepted.
So, if you are using this service and you are offered something below what you are originally quoted then I would call them to complain and fight your corner. I don't know if this will work with more expensive items - for the sake of £25 it might not have been worth them battling it out.
I got what I originally signed up for but would think carefully about selling them another phone!
