I ordered two 1GB memory modules to upgrade an old Dell Dimension computer used by my son. These arrived extremely quickly.
Unfortunately, whilst the new memory worked fine on its own, the intention had been to leave the existing memory in the computer as well, but it wouldn't work together, giving various error messages.
The existing memory modules were 512MB, but running at a lower speed (533 MHz as apposed to 667MHz of the 1GB modules). Orca advised that there were not usually compatibility issues between the two types of memory, but reviewed the list of error messages and offered to send a further 1GB module to see if that would work, as the results showed that we couldn't get more than 2GB working at the same time and they thought it might be a motherboard issue.
On receipt of the additional memory module, we found that it worked fine with the other two new modules, meaning that the issue was compatibility with our existing memory. Orca apologised and offered to refund the order in full or to sell the additional module to us at a discounted price.
Whilst we decided to stick to the 2GB setup in the end, taking out the two existing modules, I was impressed with the way Orca dealt with the problems we were having, being helpful throughout the process and providing options for us to consider once we knew what would and wouldn't work.
I will definitely buy with confidence from them again in the future.
