I wasn't impressed with Blue Chip Holiday's booking procedures. It should have been made apparent at the beginning of the payment procedure that a credit card charge would be made. Transferring payment to my debit card, which I could easily have used in the first place, was a laborious process. Subsequently, when I received my credit card bill, I found the charge hadn't been refunded, so another call to Blue Chip.
It was intensely irritating to receive promotional discounts on seasonal holidays after I had made my (Christmas) booking, and on ringing, to find out I would not be eligible, since I had already booked and paid, and anyway I had accepted the offer of a Christmas hamper. The hamper was a well kept secret at the time of booking, having found it on the website I had to make an extra call.
Not impressed either with property information, specifically asked if wi-fi was available and told it was not. I very nearly didn't make the booking, but we did find wi-fi and clear instructions written by the owner.
It was a lovely apartment, but it had obviously not been checked over for some time, the cleaners left some areas dirty, and there were deficiencies in general maintenance.
Having said all this, Blue Chip staff were always pleasant and polite, we had a lovely time and I would book again with Blue Chip but only because they have some well placed properties. They could do better.
