Poor part exchange service

If you thinking of sending an item in for part exchange like I did with my old Playstation, then be prepared for slow service. It took a week for Cex to confirm part exchange value and issue a voucher , which they sent through email. However, to use the voucher, you have to place your order online first and of course pay up front. There is no facility to add the voucher code to your order to discount th money at point of order. So in essence Cex get your goods and your money for a number of days. You then have to send the voucher through the post (Yes- you remember those things called envelopes and red post boxes) and wait for Cex to give the amount back aganist your purchase. Oh and don't hold your breath on this either. They have had my voucher a week and I have still yet to receive a refund. I have sent several emails and response to these can take up to three days!

They need to update their purchasing system to allow for voucher use at point of order or at least get more staff to handle exchanges and refunds.
